Critter Mountain Wear focuses on creating practical, versatile outdoor clothing and equipment with clean lines and styles: Built to withstand the test of time while manufacturing with a zero-waste-to-landfill ethos.
All Critter products are made in Colorado, avoiding the environmental, social, and economic costs of overseas manufacturing. The results are updated designs, access to the most current environmentally conscious fabrics, improved fit and durability—locally crafted slow fashion designed and built to last forever.
Over 99% of the waste from manufacturing Critter Mountain Wear products goes to create the Critter Pet Pillows. These are now used to develop and stuff a limited number of pet beds rather than dump all the remnants, thread clippings, selvage, and cut-offs into landfills. (Due to the Pet Pillow's size, these are available exclusively through Mountain Tails 510 Elk Ave. Crested Butte, CO) Hopefully, the remaining 1% of waste will soon find a new purpose.
